SKAZKA CANYON (Fairy Tale Canyon / Konorchek Canyon): extraordinary red sandstone formations near Tosor — looks like a Kyrgyz version of the American southwest; 2hr hike, stunning erosion sculptures. FAIRY TALE CANYON (Skazka): easier to access from Bokonbaevo — short walk from road. EAGLE HUNTING DEMONSTRATIONS: traditional Kyrgyz eagle hunters (berkutchi) with golden eagles perform demonstrations in villages near Bokonbaevo. The CBT office in Bokonbaevo is excellent for organizing HORSE TREKKING + traditional felt craft visits.
