 – Short Description: KYRGYZ ATA NP = Remote park with extraordinary ancient ARCHA JUNIPER TREES (Juniperus seravschanica) — some estimated over 1,000 years old. The gnarled, twisted ancient junipers on the hillsides above the valley look like a Japanese ink-painting. Very few tourists visit. Good wildlife including BROWN BEAR, IBEX, and SNOW LEOPARD.
