 – Short Description: SARY-JAZ VALLEY (2,800m) = EXTREME EASTERN KYRGYZSTAN — one of the most remote valleys in the Tian Shan. The approach passes through the extraordinary KARKYRA VALLEY with its wild-horse herds. The Sary-Jaz River drains part of the massive INYLCHEK GLACIER system. Few organized tours reach here — only specialist operators. Near-China border: permit mandatory. The landscape: vast, stark, beautiful — genuine wilderness.
