 – Short Description: TRAVELLERS’ PASS (4,100m) = the FINEST ACCESSIBLE VIEWPOINT of PEAK LENIN (7,134m) for non-climbers. The pass gives a horizon-stretching view of the entire Lenin Peak massif across the Alay Valley. The massive south face of Lenin Peak (3,000m+ from glacier to summit) fills the northern horizon. The ALAY VALLEY below (2,800m) is a perfect flat green table — the nomadic grazing valley between two massive mountain ranges. This 8hr round trip from Achik Tash is the main day-hike objective for trekkers at Lenin Peak Base Camp.
