– Short Description: TULPAR-KUL YURT CAMP (3,500m) = the most POPULAR BASE for the JIPTIK PASS TREK and the TRAVELLERS’ PASS approach toward Lenin Peak (7,134m). The camp sits beside a beautiful lake surrounded by small glacially-carved sub-lakes. In summer: snow is possible at any time. The camp is a vibrant hub for trekkers heading to various Alay Mountains passes. JIPTIK PASS (4,185m): 1.5-day trek from Tulpar-Kul — gives HORIZON-STRETCHING VIEWS of the Lenin Peak massif across the Alay Valley (one of the finest viewpoints in Central Asia).
